This past weekend, the Colorado Hawks competed in the Top of the Rockies Tournament.  All of our teams that entered the event performed extremely well going 27-4 in the TOR.  We entered teams in the 14U, 15U and 17U divisions.  The 17U division contained 4 Colorado Hawks teams: 17U Nation (6-0), 17U Prospect (3-2), 17U Unsigned Seniors (3-1), and 16U Nation (4-1).  Three of those four teams made it to the 17’S Division Final Four (17U Nation, 16U Nation, 17U Prospects).  The 17U Nation team outlasted our 16U Nation team 84-76.   This was the closest game the 17U Nation team had over the weekend.  In the other sideRead More →

The Colorado Hawks 2020 (13U) team traveled to Albuquerque, NM to play in the Southwest Salsa Slam. In what has been become an annual tradition, the Colorado Hawks had a team in the championship.  For the past three years, the Colorsdo Hawks has had at least one team in a championship game. Last season Overland High School was not expected to make it to the final four.  Popular belief was that due to the team being very young, Overland was one year away.  That was never the belief of Coach Danny Fisher.  Coach Fisher invested into each and every one of his players and convinced them to believe they were ready.  His mantra, ‘Respect The Process” could be heard echoed through their practices.  As the season wore on, his team began to Respect The Process.  As they began to Respect The Process, their season moved towards a magical run to the Final Four.  The season did notRead More →
