Meet Alpha Diallo

This month, the Colorado Hawks Spotlight belongs to 2016 Wing, Alpha Diallo.  Alpha has taken full advantage of being on one of the biggest basketball stages in America in front of all of the coaches of every major university in America on the adidas Uprising Gauntlet.  During July, Alpha and his Colorado Hawks team competed in the adidas Gauntlet Finale in Atlanta, GA, Three Stripes Alliance hosted in St. Louis, MO; adidas Uprising Summer Championships in Las Vegas, NV; and adidas Nations in Long Beach, CA.  Alpha started July extremely well in the Three Stripes and continued to improve with each event.

adidas Guantlet Finale -4 games played averaging 15.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1.75 steals.

Three Stripes Alliance – averaged 19.8 points per game over 5 games leading the Colorado Hawks to the Championship game.  The Hawks did not play in the Championship game due to having to travel to Las Vegas to compete in the adidas Uprising Championships in Las Vegas.

adidas Uprising Championships – 6 games played averaging 13.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.67 steals in 24 minutes per game.

adidas Nations Team Africa – 6 games played averaging 20.5 points 10.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.17 steals per game in 33.8 minutes per game.
Alpha helped team Africa win the Third Place game with an MVP effort defined by leading the team in scoring with 30 points shooting 52.4% from the field, 13 rebounds (tied for 1st), 3 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.
