Hawks POW ending Dec 4th: Daijon Smith

6’1″ 2018 G Daijon Smith from Overland High School has been selected as the Colorado Hawks Player of the week.  Daijon led Overland High School to their first varsity win versus perennial power Regis Jesuit.  He scored a game high 26 points including 13 of those points in the pivotal third quarter.  His 13 point third quarter allowed Overland to extend their lead and pull away from Regis.  Daijon shot 69% from the field including 4-6 (69%) from three point range.  Congratulations to Daijon for jumping off to a great start and leading Overland to a 1-0 start.

Week 1 Honorable Mention:

Kwane Marble, Jr.  (2019 6’3″ G).  The Denver East Sophomore had a successful week as well.  Kwane helped Denver East win the Fossil Ridge Tipoff Classic by averaging 16 points per game and 4.5 rebounds.  He averaged 17 points and 4 rebounds during the tournament.  Kwane scored 28, shooting 67% from the field, in their first tournament game.  He followed that up with 18 points on 50% from the field in the championship game.   Congratulations on a great start to the season Kwane.
